TOWN OF UTICA TOWN CAUCUS January 19, 2009 1. CALL TO ORDER. Chairman Nelson Hinz called the January 19, 2009 Caucus to order at 7:30 p.m. at the Utica Town Hall. Nelson Hinz, Chairman, Kathy Paschke, Supervisor #1, Frederick Marohn, Supervisor #2, Betty Messerschmidt, Treasurer and Jack Clarke, Clerk were present. 21 Citizens were in the audience. 2. ELECTION OF A PRESIDING OFFICAL Betty Bradley made a motion nominating Bernie Egan to be the Presiding Official, seconded by Darwin Newell. Carried. 3. ELECTION OF TWO TELLERS. Nelson Hinz made a motion, seconded by Frederick Marohn, to elect Darwin Newell as a teller. Carried. Walter Whiting made a motion, seconded by Betty Bradley, to elect Roger Radloff as a teller. Carried. 4. PRESIDING OFFICAL SELECTS ONE PERSON TO WRITE ON FLIP CHART. Presiding Official Bernie Egan asked Shirley Gallert to write on the flip chart. She agreed. 5. NOMINATION FOR CHAIR. Roger Radloff made a motion, seconded by Kathy Paschke, to nominate Nelson Hinz as Chair. Carried. No other nominations were made. 6. NOMINATION FOR SUPERVISOR #1 Walter Whiting made a motion, seconded by Betty Bradley, to nominate Kathy Paschke as Supervisor #1. Carried. No other nominations were made. 7. NOMINATION FOR SUPERVISOR #2 Sandy Forsgren made a motion, seconded by Lyle Forsgren, to nominate Charles Kuhrt as Supervisor #2. Carried. Walter Whiting made a motion, seconded by Darwin Newell, to nominate Frederick Marohn as Supervisor #2. Carried. No other nominations were made. 8. NOMINATION FOR TREASURER. Betty Bradley made a motion, seconded by Walter Whiting, to nominate Betty Messerschmidt as Treasurer. Carried. No other nominations were made. 9. NOMINATION FOR CLERK. Betty Bradley made a motion, seconded by Lyle Forsgren, to nominate Jack Clarke as Clerk. Carried. No other nominations were made. 10. NOMINATION FOR CONSTABLE. Tom Davis made a motion, seconded by Roger Radloff, to nominate Robert Davis as Constable. Carried. No other nominations were made. 11. ADJOURNMENT Walter Whiting made a motion, seconded by Sandy Forsgren, to adjourn. Carried.
