Zoning changes have to be in compliance with the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. The Land Use Plan is only reviewed once per year in February. Changes need to be brought to the Plan Commission to be considered. Plan ahead and come to a meeting for an informal opinion if you anticipate needing a change. Requests are not guaranteed and can take several months for approval. Meetings are typically the Thursday before the Regular Town Meeting.
Town Supervisor Position Open A new supervisor will appointed at a special meeting at 7:00 (prior to the regular town meeting) on September 13, 2010. Please contact Chairman Hinz (589-3582) if you are interested.
Rush Lake Watershed Committee We are also in need for an alternate for this committee. Also contact Chairman Hinz.
Fee Exempt Water Testing for 2008 Flood Victims Homeowners that were flooded in 2008 may call the WSLH and request that a water sampling kit be sent to them. Call 1-800-442-4618 and ask for Pat Collins.
Upcoming Primary Election is on September 14, 2010. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Absentee ballots can be received from the Clerk.
Election Inspectors The Town is in need of a few more election inspectors. If you are interested, please contact the clerk.
